Why Become a PPW Member?

If you work in the field of Photography or have dreams of becoming a professional, you are invited to join the Professional Photographers of Washington Inc. Founded in 1952, the PPW is one of the nation's most active and beneficial photography associations. PPW is a non-profit corporation, governed by a voluntary board of photography professionals who know the value of networking and the importance of education.

When you join PPW you set yourself apart as a professional, committed to integrity in business and growth in artistic excellence. You begin to enjoy a program of continuing education to enhance your photography skills and keep abreast of new business and technical innovations. Plus you become part of a community of photographers who work together for the advancement of photography as a respected and honored profession.

The next step is to select the Membership Categories page on the above Navigation bar. This will allow you to sign up for the category that fits your needs. From there you will be asked to either pay with a credit card (visa or mc) or with a check, and once payment has been received by the Membership Chair, then you will be sent a Membership Info Packet and a phone call to welcome you and introduce you to the District Representative of your area.
