Art Wolfe

BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH - Saturday 6:30pm

Art Wolfe is currently hosting a public television series “Art Wolfe’s Travels to the Edge”. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and serves on the advisory boards for the Nature’s Best Foundation, Bridges to Understanding, and is a Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers.

This presentation centers on the Himalaya region and reflects Wolfe’s most personal statement to date. A grand adventure begins with a brief look back at the history and events in Wolfe’s formative years that triggered his imagination and wonder towards a path of blending his creativity and art with photography while documenting the wild world.

Steven Conner

Forensic Photography - Sunday 8:15am

Who watches CSI? Many of you will be raising your hands. Steven Conner, PPW member, FBI Photographer and FBI Evidence Response Team (ERT) - the FBI's version of CSI - will share techniques for forensic and evidence photography. As professional photographers, many of you will be hired to do photographs that will be used in court or other legal purposes. This program will be of interest to you. Be sure to bring you camera, tripod and shutter release cable. Steve will demonstrate Forenisc Lights and other techniques. You'll be taking your own CSI photos.

On Demand Marketing – Sunday 10:30am

We all know the importance of keeping in touch with our clients, right? What if you could do it for 1.5¢ per client? It’s possible, it’s easy, and it’s just that affordable!

Bruce and his son Josh of Hudson’s Designer Portraits have cracked the E-mail marketing code with their highly effective E-Newsletters. Can you imagine coming up with a marketing idea, creating a quick E-Newsletter in just minutes and then sending it out to your clients for pennies?

Bruce will cover:
· Capturing email addresses from your clients
· Writing copy, choosing images, and laying out designs
· Tracking your responses and making them effective
· Following up with your responses. Now what do I do?
· Take it up a notch…adding video to your emails!
· Manage your website hits with Google Analytics
· Demonstrate and create an actual e-newsletter in minutes!

“If happy little bluebirds fly above the rainbow, why oh
why, can’t I?” Sunday 1:00pm

Whether you are a beginner or veteran photographer, this is a
program you should not miss. Welcome back international speaker and portrait artist William Branson III. In the words of Robert Lloyd, past president of the PPA, after hearing Mr. Branson speak, “Your program has a lot to offer to a
huge percentage of our memebers...your message of valuing your product and presenting a first class image applies to all.”
You will see how he transformed a high volume wedding and portrait studio to a low volume in-house classical studio that is sought out by clients from all over the world. Topics of his program will include: Finding your Niche, Portrait Painters, Studio Design, Marketing, Posing and Lighting, How to Sell Rather than be an Order Taker, and His Painting Process.
