Pre Season Tuneup with Sam Gardner
Location: The Arboretum in Yakima

May 12
Time All Day

For those of you who attended the annual spring PPW educational conference in Wenatchee, I trust it was everything you had imagined and that you came out with a wealth of useful information to help your business grow. For those who could not attend for whatever reason, there is a chance to attend another in-service by one of our very respected members, Sam Gardner, “CPP”, “Master of Photography”, “Photographic Craftsman”, and “Fellow of Photography” are some of the credentials he has the honor of holding. It may seem almost premature to have another educational in-service so close to the convention, but this one is tailored to our bread and butter and I believe, timed perfectly.

We can title this convention “Pre-Season Tune Up”. Granted this one day educational conference is more geared to the Yakima photographers as it will be held at the Arboretum, a favorite spot for all of us from Yakima, but it still will be beneficial for those in the outlying areas as we will be dealing with photographing during the worst part of the day and learning how to deal with less than optimal shooting situations. We are all faced with these situations, but now we will better equipped to handle them with confidence.

The subjects we will be addressing will be seniors and a bride and groom, all of which we have done for our respective businesses. We will have a model for each shooting situation and best of we will have the opportunity to see the Arboretum in a new light. As Sam and I walked through the Arboretum the other day, the photo ideas that were bursting forth from his mind were, shall I just say, simply amazing. All who attend will not be disappointed, guaranteed.

The cost is only $59.00 for PPW members, non-members the cost is $89.00. If you join the PPW at the time of the May 12th Seminar, the additional $30.00 will be applied toward your annual membership dues. Either way, you will walk away with a new perspective on shooting photographs at the Arboretum or in any other venue for that matter.

A PPW Merit will be awarded as well as well as a PPA Merit for those PPA members. Lunch will be served at the Arboretum and will be going over the photos in the afternoon and Sam will answer any and all questions. Please let me know if you are planning on attending so the correct amount of food will be provided. Please respond via e-mail to mjpender@hotmail.com to reserve your spot.

We look forward to your participation in this very worthwhile educational seminar.
