Give your competition prints a "pop" with photoshop. Instructors, Mike Busby and Rich Breshears, will show how to work on competition prints and give ideas.

Class Title:  Processing to the 12 Elements

This class is framed to PPA’s 12 elements of a successful image. It focuses on impact and how it is generated through the technical, composition, creativity, and fusing it  together with processing. There will be a demonstration on technical processing, a practical approach to composition, an open discussion on the nature of creativity, and putting it all together through design elements, lighting, and Photoshop. Individuals taking this class we leave with simple but powerful processing techniques and new approaches to composition and creativity. 


A little bit about Mike: Mike is a fine art and commercial photographer operating in Spokane. He also provides individual and corporate instruction for intermediate and advanced photographers. 

Mike maintains a technical degree in photography, a B.S. in Management Science, and a Masters in Creative Communications. He is a certified professional photographer and a contributor to Washington Photographer magazine. Mike has won best of awards for architectural, illustrative, and industrial photography, and in 2017, he was named a bronze medalist in PPA’s International Print Competition. 

Instructor: Rich Breshears 

Class Title: Rich's program will focus on his exploration of layers and masking to make your images explode with color, depth, and saturation

A little bit about Rich: Rich Breshears, M.Photog., CPP, FP, and his wife Mary Ann have been operating Breshears Professional Photography since 2000.  Since then, Rich has focused intently on growing his own knowledge in photography, lighting, posing, and post production since.  His ernest belief is that by sharing information between professionals is the best way to grow the industry as a whole.
